Is it me, or does DuckDuckGo seem to be DuckDuckGone? Down for an hour or so and now that I made this post, it comes right back.

DuckDuckGo has a nice approach, can't argue that, however their interface is so hideous I just cannot bear using it for more than a VERY VERY naughty search request.

doesn't seem very useful I tested it with a few things I commonly search for and had to dig through the results to find the proper sites.

If the interface is your only complaint, that is just plain ridiculous! To me, that just means you can't of anything wrong with it.

I'll use DuckDuckGo over Google any and every day of the week!! Bing also!! I DESPISE anything Google!! It's NOT the saviour you all seem to think it is here!!

It's working perfectly fine here also.

I could address your points, but I see how you're not just very enthusiastic about DDG but also seem to have the fighting gloves on seeing how you liked to jump to conclusions.

So yeah, meh.
To each his or her own, have a good ride with DDG, honestly!
I'll take Google, but I'm not going to jump on the defense train here.
