best thing that ever happened to this country. Now if only all the beetles crappy music can't die.

How come the older you get, the faster time seems to go by?

because things used to be new and awesome. now they are routine and dull and days blend together as you waste your life just trying to accumulate enough money to keep it all going.

A kind, decent, nonnative man being murdered for no decent reason was the best thing that ever happened to your country?

other than he basically was a symbol and speaker for the hippie movement. a movement whose repercussions to this day has America deeply divided in a bull**** deluge of class warfare and gender war. A movement that severely dissed our troops and actually thought that free love and drug use was good thing. Thank you hippie movement for giving us things like Charles Manson, play dates, single parent households, HIV among several other really dumb things. If the U.S. government blew up their plane before it landed in america, america would be a better place.

do you really believe any of the **** you say Seta? o_0

yeah. Yesterday's flower children are today's blooming idiots and Lennon was chief flower child. i couldn't imagine how ****ed this country would be if he was still alive today and he continued to be allowed to spout his non-sense. He's dead and I'm happy for it. Hopefully over time his crappy music spouting subversive communist bull**** will be forgotten.

wow I'm glad not very many people think like you seta

this world would be in an even sadder state than it already is if more people thought like you

basically every idea of from the 60s and 70s needs to be forgotten except the end of "jim crow" which was the only good thing to come from those years

Reading about him, I think he was much more conservative than either his critics or his followers believe. He was deeply interested in religion -- even though mostly into Buddhism he went through a "Christian" phase where he corresponded with evangelical leaders -- just didn't like the hypocrites -- and it turns out he had positive things to say about Pres. Reagan.

Same thing with Bob Dylan, who became interested in Christianity himself, and said that his favorite politician of the 60s era was Barry Goldwater.

But we remember them for the kind of social movement they fit into, not really much about their personal complexities.

you want to get in to his personal life. He's a wife beater estranged himself from his son and again was an open communist. He's still a terrible person by today's standards. People like britney spears might be airheads and a little crazy but at least she cares about her children and Paris Hilton, has thus far, been kind enough to have no children at all.

You want to do a little reading into it yourself. He did abuse his wife, which he admitted to and even sung about and then became an activist for women's rights, anti-war, workers rights any many other causes.

When was the last time you saw Britney Spears or Paris Hilton do anything anywhere near meaningful?

I'm glad their plane didn't "blew up their plane before it landed in america" as you would've liked and the world is much richer from them.

who cares what they eventually became? Just because they dropped out doesn't mean that they didn't help create a movement that others have picked up the torch on.

The woman named Jane Roe in the famous Roe V. Wade legalized abortion

that woman's real name is Norma McCorvey and wishes she could take it all back but she can't.. just like John Lennon could never put back the wrongs that he advocated.

I was sitting in O.R.'s offices when I noticed a fetal development poster. The progression was so obvious, the eyes were so sweet. It hurt my heart, just looking at them. I ran outside and finally, it dawned on me. 'Norma', I said to myself, 'They're right'. I had worked with pregnant women for years. I had been through three pregnancies and deliveries myself. I should have known. Yet something in that poster made me lose my breath. I kept seeing the picture of that tiny, 10-week-old embryo, and I said to myself, that's a baby! It's as if blinders just fell off my eyes and I suddenly understood the truth ? that's a baby!

I felt crushed under the truth of this realization. I had to face up to the awful reality. Abortion wasn't about 'products of conception'. It wasn't about 'missed periods'. It was about children being killed in their mother's wombs. All those years I was wrong. Signing that affidavit, I was wrong. Working in an abortion clinic, I was wrong. No more of this first trimester, second trimester, third trimester stuff. Abortion ? at any point ? was wrong. It was so clear. Painfully clear.[3]

Play dates??? What's wrong with kids playing together and learning to socialize, not to mention a chance for parents to discuss parenting together?

That's been happening since the beginning of time, why do you think the "hippies" created it?

no it hasn't been like that forever. When my parents, the baby boomers, played the parents simply kicked them out of the house and the kids didn't come back until dinner. Today, because there is a paranoia of kidnappers, rapists, drug dealers, etc play is never spontaneous. It now has to be scheduled between parents whom know trust each other when back in the day everyone in a neighborhood already knew and trusted each other..

I'm sorry, to a lot of people this will sound ignorant but I barely care anymore.

Not this Beatles crap again, get over it already. Some people even go as far as thinking they are this "elite group" of people these days because they listen to and follow Beatles everywhere they go, I got news to you, if you're one of them you're mentally ill.

    • So, recently, I saw on the news (yes, on this website) that Samsung is introducing features where it can provide education using AI-powered sets, and because of this, I got concerned about whether the AI gives out wrong info during education sessions, causing controversies in the process. What are your thoughts on this?
    • TCL's Bang & Olufsen soundbar is 40% off on Amazon by Ivan Jenic The TCL Design Series A65K is currently $299.99, down from $499.99. That's 40% off and $200 saved on a soundbar tuned by Bang & Olufsen, which is not a combination you'd normally expect at this price point (purchase link below). Bang & Olufsen doesn't typically show up in the sub-$500 category. The Danish audio brand is known for speakers that cost several times more, so having their acoustic tuning on a $300 soundbar is very appealing. TCL handles the hardware, B&O handles the sound engineering, and the result is what the company calls "accessible luxury." Still, accessible luxury isn’t full-fledged luxury, so don’t expect wonders. But this is a decent soundbar, nevertheless. The A65K is a true 3.1.2 channel system with nine physical drivers, including genuine up-firing height speakers for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. Many soundbars at this price simulate overhead effects through virtual processing, rather than actual hardware. So, you’re getting the real deal. The design is unusually slim for a system with Atmos compatibility. The bar is just under 2 inches deep and should fit beneath most TV screens. The wireless subwoofer is also compact at roughly 14 x 14 x 5 inches. Total output is 460W, and you can connect to the soundbar via HDMI eARC, Bluetooth 5.3, or USB. There are also eight sound modes through the TCL Home app and an AI calibration capability. Although it’s worth mentioning that AI capabilities in most of these devices are inconsistent, to say the least, and that shouldn’t be the biggest selling point. Still, at $299.99, the A65K is a strong buy for anyone who wants a soundbar that sounds and looks noticeably better than what this price range usually offers. And the Bang & Olufsen branding surely sounds nice - pun intended. • I sure hope the AI does not give out wrong info during education
