Hmmm, now I feel a little homesick...I used to love trimming the tree as a child - stringing the chocolate money and sugarmice...great memories!

and remember people a "Christmas tree" isn't a religious thing, but a pagan thing about bringing light into the home in the peak of the winter solstice... Christians just stole the idea...

No Xmas decorations at all this year. The girlfriend is working away(Liverpool for the last 8 weeks), only at home from Friday evening until Sunday mid-afternoon. She is going to her parents on Xmas Eve, but I am working my side job so wont be going. It isn't worth the effort of doing any decorating.

lol yea, I hate the whole feeling like you have to buy something just because its christmas, they have no meaning really, imo if I`m going to buy someone a present, it will be for a real reason not because tradition says I have to
