I accidentally uninstalled all the default windows 8 metro apps when I meant just to uninstall the Messaging app. Now I can't find where to download them anywhere online or the app store... speaking of which, is it me or is there no search feature in the app store? I can't find anything there other than what Microsoft has featured for sale.

How the heck do you delete all the Metro apps when you're just deleting one app?

Mail/messaging/calendar/people is one suite. If you uninstal one it uninstalls all. I should have just unpinned them

It will be in the App store under the Productivity section or you can do a search for "Mail, Calendar, People and Messaging"
Win+Q is search is you are using a keyboard or you can just type from the store it will pull up search automatically.

Windows 8 101

To search inside any app just bring the charm menu by moving the cursor to the upper right corner (or win+q) , click search and type your query, or just start typing while you're inside any app.

Winkey + F searches files, Winkey + Q searches the app you're in.
