Mouse could be going bad/advice on new mouse

Recommended Posts

Ok the mouse i have is the logitech G9 which i've had for some time now and it stops working mid click (see image) so i was thinking of investing in a new mouse and as i don't play games as much as i used to i was thinking of going for something a little more civil but still with extra buttons so what's the best i could get for under ?50?

I would get any Logitech mice. The only brand I use. I use the M305 mice (have 5 of them currently) they do have a left/right/center scroll click. Dunno if that will work.

Love it! Best mouse I've ever owned. Very comfortable to use. It comes with weights, lights up red, and the software is pretty lightweight and easy to use. http://www.newegg.co...N82E16826104318

If you don't want that, I'd recommend one of these. My friend has one and loves it. http://www.razerzone.com/gaming-mice

Edit: MADCAT R.A.T 's look pretty cool too.

Funny thing is, the click mechanism in Logitech's mice tends to break in that exact same way, regardless of what mouse I buy. It'll only get worse from there on out, and pretty soon your click will cease to work.

However, their mice are relatively cheap, and take a few years each to break. So I still recommend them :)

Get a G400. One of the few mice with a "perfect" 1:1 sensor. Razor Naga is another.

so you've had mid click breaks too?

I had a G5 mouth a few years ago, and the right click lost the "click", wouldn't come back on. So I called up Logitech, they said they were sending a replacement. I got a G5 v2 from them. I spent no money.

    • draw.io Desktop 30.2.6 by Razvan Serea draw.io desktop is a downloadable security-first diagramming application that runs on Windows, MacOS and Linux. Creating diagrams in the desktop app doesn’t need an internet connection. This is useful when you are disconnected or when you must create diagrams in a highly secure environment, where data protection is of the utmost importance. When you use the draw.io desktop app, your diagrams will be stored on your local device. Because this is a stand-alone application, also designed to run offline, there are no interfaces to cloud storage platforms available. Of course, you can still store your diagrams in folders that are synchronised to your cloud storage if you wish. Easy-to-use diagram editor The draw.io apps work just like the office and drawing tools you are used to using. Drag and drop shapes from the shape libraries and drag to draw connectors between them. Drag connectors to add waypoints and set a precise shape and position, or let them reroute automatically. Double click and start typing to add a label to anything. Create tables and swimlane flows with a familiar tool. Style shapes and connectors with customisable palettes, sketch options, fonts and text formatting tools. Search for shapes, including in open-source icon libraries. Use our vast libraries of shapes and templates, organised into logical categories, to create a range of diagrams and infographics. Generate diagrams from text descriptions using our smart templates.
