Windows Live Mail - can you add real signatures?

Need to send off mail to a solicitor, so would like to add signature too. I've gone into options & selected the signature tab, but it looks like you can only add text.

I don't want to add an attachment of a signature.

The aim is to sign a bit of paper, scan this in & then have this at the end of the mail as the signature. Can you even do this?

Not legally binding no.

They might accept a scanned document with your signature scanned as a full image or PDF and then sent as an attachment. But the only way to legally sign a document digital is with electronic ID

the way ive always done this is to print my email, sign it then scan and send
