Got a new Taurus millenium pro pt140. Definitely needs a cleaning thing is absolutely filthy. Its my wife's Christmas present. Any recommendations or advice?

Depending on how she's going to carry it, get her a comfortable holster
Also make sure she goes to the range as much as feasible, the less time she needs to react the better

It's gonna be for in home defense. I have a chl she needs to wait two more years before she can get one. Gonna go to the range after Christmas. probably put 200 rounds through it so she gets used to it. Told her that gun is not for distance. Heard after 25 feet the accuracy fakes a nose dive. Lighter than my sigma so that's a plus.
