Virtual box problem

Im running ubuntu 12.10 and using virtual box with windows 7 to run windows specfic software and i am trying to connect a usb but i get this error " VirtualBox is not currently allowed to access USB devices. You can change this by adding your user to the 'vboxusers' group. Please see the user manual for a more detailed explanation." can anyone help me out on this please

You need to add Guest Additions to it.

Already have got that user added, even checked properties my account is signed to it.

Already have guest additions installed.

This is obvious but... did you log off and log in again/rebooted?

It gave me some headache to set it up, especiallly due to the headers thing
Used KVM later and was good.Just works.But no USB ofcourse
