windows 8 Metro printing problems

I have Windows 8 64 bit installed a long with a brothers printer. I can print in the desktop view ok but I can't print anything in any metro ui app. Can anyone help me with this? No errors are shown with the drivers, it's plugged into usb, and drivers are up to date.

You have to go to the devices on the side from the charms menu. There you will see printer options. They do not make this easy enough for most people. For the longest I thought it just wasn't possible till I googled it.
