Snow U.K. 2013

Recommended Posts

Snowing here in the North East, the roads are wet so it doesn't seem to be laying much... we're already on an alert and have had an email off the local council advising it's going to get quite bad.

I hate it when it's like this, kinda in the middle.. there's not enough snow to close work and bring life to a standstill.. but enough to keep things moving slowly to a point it's just annoying as you still need to go about your day but it's cold, wet, rubbish drivers get scared, delays and so on.. i would rather it give us an absolute blizzard or just not snow at all.

Friday Between 10am - 1pm. It looks like two snow clouds smash together over the British isles ... Wooooo :-D

Forecasts for just a few hours ahead are changed regularly so good luck forecasting up to Friday, but if that happens it should be good

I am not very happy.

We had the flakes start landing on Kings Hill, for around 25 minutes, then it stopped.

We did not get the 5cm as promised.

I am very disappointed.

I will send a strongly written letter to the meteorology department.

I'm in the NE and we got it quite bad.. the worst thing now is the freezing temperatures, it's not melting and everything is layered with ice.

Yea we did get it eventually but a few days after the worst warnings, and same here, everything has frozen solid and walking down the street is a death trap, you have to walk like you just shat your pants lol

    • draw.io Desktop 30.2.6 by Razvan Serea draw.io desktop is a downloadable security-first diagramming application that runs on Windows, MacOS and Linux. Creating diagrams in the desktop app doesn’t need an internet connection. This is useful when you are disconnected or when you must create diagrams in a highly secure environment, where data protection is of the utmost importance. When you use the draw.io desktop app, your diagrams will be stored on your local device. Because this is a stand-alone application, also designed to run offline, there are no interfaces to cloud storage platforms available. Of course, you can still store your diagrams in folders that are synchronised to your cloud storage if you wish. Easy-to-use diagram editor The draw.io apps work just like the office and drawing tools you are used to using. Drag and drop shapes from the shape libraries and drag to draw connectors between them. Drag connectors to add waypoints and set a precise shape and position, or let them reroute automatically. Double click and start typing to add a label to anything. Create tables and swimlane flows with a familiar tool. Style shapes and connectors with customisable palettes, sketch options, fonts and text formatting tools. Search for shapes, including in open-source icon libraries. Use our vast libraries of shapes and templates, organised into logical categories, to create a range of diagrams and infographics. Generate diagrams from text descriptions using our smart templates. Diagram faster with keyboard shortcuts. draw.io Desktop 30.2.6 changelog: Uses electron 42.5.0 #2452 Updates to draw.io core 30.2.6.
