I started project working with VBA and I am trying to send and receive SMS messages using HTTP requests. I will add SMS messaging functionality to my system with the use of an HTTP SMS gateway, (I found OzekiSMS Gateway) and post SMS messages to this gateway using HTTP requests. I will run the VB.Net application on a different computer. They recommend Microsot Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition (http://www.ozekisms....ex.php?owpn=587). Is it the best VB version for my purpose?

Please share with me your idea.

I'd say to get VB Express 2010. No point using an old version.

Keep in mind that VBA and VB.NET (2001 onwards) have massive differences
