Alwaysonacoffebreak
Hey guys. So I got myself a new project to deal with and hopefully it'll stay with me for a longer time for every day use (work and back etc.) So here it goes. It's an 92' Mercedes-Benz CE-230. 97kw 2.3 engine. At this time I've figured it takes around 12-13l / 100km but I guess in the summer it's a bit less in the city, on an highway it stays around 8-9l / 100km. When I bought it the buyer gave the bass speakers (not subwoofers) with it also the amplifier with the car. There are some minor flaws that I need to work on so it looks "perfect". For example the driver side door lock doesn't work for some reason, will take it to a locksmith to see if it's worth to repair it or I should just switch all the locks out. In the interior the passanger side cluvbox (?) doesn't close properly and both of the moving seatbelt feeders also don't work (need to figure out why first). Some pictures. http://imageshack.us/g/1/9971823/ I'll post some updates aswell along the way :)
tsupersonic
Awesome, it is a very rare car, and I love it. My friend has one, and he loves the thing. I am trying to get a 500E as my next car, gotta love the fact that Mercedes and Porsche worked together on it.
Alwaysonacoffebreak
I'm also very pleased at this point. There are some things I need to do with the interior. Also made some new pictures with it. This is the condition that the passanger seatbelt feeder is in, the last owner didn't do a goob job trying to take it apart :( Some kinda "immobilizer" that he put in it. Works good tho lol. Front speaker. Need to figure out how to get it back into the box so it won't pop out again. And last a decent front and rear view. Also, 500E is a perfect choise. Hopefully You'll find a decent condition ;)
KingCracker
Low profile tires and some black rims.
Alwaysonacoffebreak
The ones under it are just winter tires. Already have AMG Monoblocks waiting for the snow to go away with some low profile tires :p
+Mirumir Subscriber¹ Posted January 23, 2013 Subscriber¹ Share Posted January 23, 2013 A coupe with a fahrkopf is rich! Please remove the damn thing! Other than that, the car just needs some good spa-like treatment to clean all the dust. All the other flaws, as you put it, are really minor. Congrats! Alwaysonacoffebreak
You mean the big Merc on the front? If so then yea that's the priority on my list, I also don't really like it. It actually fits some coupes but not with this hood.

No, I mean the tow hitch ... And now that you've mentioned it, two Mercedes-Benz stars on the front is overkill. One of them needs to be removed. Alwaysonacoffebreak
Oh right. I already forgot to mention..the tow hitch is already gone. Was the first thing I removed lol. +Mirumir 1 Share

Alwaysonacoffebreak
Well I think I'm going to bring an SEC 560 in from Germany in the summer so I'll keep the grill in my garage for now, it seems to fit that. ;)
