My new project

Recommended Posts

Hey guys.

So I got myself a new project to deal with and hopefully it'll stay with me for a longer time for every day use (work and back etc.)

So here it goes.

It's an 92' Mercedes-Benz CE-230. 97kw 2.3 engine. At this time I've figured it takes around 12-13l / 100km but I guess in the summer it's a bit less in the city, on an highway it stays around 8-9l / 100km.

When I bought it the buyer gave the bass speakers (not subwoofers) with it also the amplifier with the car.

There are some minor flaws that I need to work on so it looks "perfect". For example the driver side door lock doesn't work for some reason, will take it to a locksmith to see if it's worth to repair it or I should just switch all the locks out. In the interior the passanger side cluvbox (?) doesn't close properly and both of the moving seatbelt feeders also don't work (need to figure out why first).

Some pictures.

I'll post some updates aswell along the way :)

I'm also very pleased at this point. There are some things I need to do with the interior. Also made some new pictures with it.

This is the condition that the passanger seatbelt feeder is in, the last owner didn't do a goob job trying to take it apart :(

Some kinda "immobilizer" that he put in it. Works good tho lol.

Front speaker. Need to figure out how to get it back into the box so it won't pop out again.

And last a decent front and rear view.

Also, 500E is a perfect choise. Hopefully You'll find a decent condition ;)

You mean the big Merc on the front? If so then yea that's the priority on my list, I also don't really like it.

No, I mean the tow hitch ...

And now that you've mentioned it, two Mercedes-Benz stars on the front is overkill. One of them needs to be removed.

It actually fits some coupes but not with this hood.

Good, the 'sports grill' doesn't fit your car. It fits some of the newer Benz's, like my CLS.

    • Nice devices but my Surface Pro 9 got bricked from a Windows Update efter only three years. Never buying a device from MS again.
