I just updated from Waterfox 16 to 18.0.1 and suddenly the bookmark toolbar color is changed and the tabs are crowded on the top! Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Have you checked if all of your extensions are compatible with version 18 yet? This looks like Tab Mix Plus or something similar not working with Waterfox 18.

^ Yes, they are all showing compatible...
Edit: It appears that the issue is being caused by Straitform, I disabled it and I am back to normal :/

Go to about:config, change this preference to False:

browser.tabs.onTop
This will give you option to return back to tabs on bottom.

Firefox is not intending to keep tabs on bottom code as a initial step, they removed this option from UI context menu, it might be the case happened with you. So this is my wild guess or I might be completely wrong as well.
