Sound not working correctly

Okay so I got a new headset and plugged it into the back of my PC and I am only getting sound out of the left hand side. So I tried it in my iPod and it is working perfectly. I was wondering is there any way to fix this?

Nevermind I am a complete and Utter idiot.

I turned the balance on the right hand channel all the way down as yesterday when my old headset broke it was making a lot of static on that side. and I forgot to turn it back up. AHA X_X!

Lesson Learnt, Don't change system settings at 5am when your tired as you will forget when you wake up X_X.
