Nah, Dolphi's one of a very small handful that uses QT, the rest primarily GTK, including Thunar. Not a fan of Thunar myself, kind of lacking on features, but that's opinion of course, judge for yourself.

I am not a KDE fan but I find Dolphin far and away better than anythnig else out there.

I use Thunar myself. I don't need much from my file browser. As long as it lets me browse my file system and devices, and lets me open terminal prompts, that's enough for me.

I've never used Dolphin (never been a fan of KDE), but I've heard very good things.

I don't think that Windows Explorer runs very well in Ubuntu, and the WINE file manager (WINE Explorer) is not very complete. If you really wanted to make a joke, "Finder" probably would have been a better choice. Even avid Mac fans apologize for it. I would choose Windows Explorer over Finder every time.

To clarify, I realize that remixedcat was joking. I was actually trying to make a joke as well, but now that I look at it again I think it came off poorly. I'm aplogize if I offended anyone or gave the wrong impression.
