Mega and Downloading

I think Mega has dropped the ball on one aspect: Downloading your files.

They allow you to upload an entire folder, but when you go and dl it back to your system, you have to dl the individual files within the folder. So just to let everyone know, it might be advisable to just rar/zip/7zip your folders before uploading them.

How is that news? This is how I'd expect it to work. If you want your files combined, use an archiver.

It's not really a great shock, most file hosting sites don't let free users download files in bulk.

Skydrive allow you to do it so maybe he thought Mega would be the same?

Could be but I don't think Skydrive is aimed as squarely at filesharers as services like mega are.

I'm taking all my stuff off Mega. SkyDrive is sufficient.
