Artamir
Greetings! I have had this same PC for over 5 years now and have never had any issues. Today, my screen started looking weird with all sorts of interference before being filled with short, horizontal red lines and, finally, showing a BSOD mentionning nvlddmkm.sys, which appears to be a NVidia driver. I have not made any updates to the display driver this past week. The PC will boot into safe mode but will keep displaying interference on the screen. Starting Windows normally does nothing and only displays a black screen. I have tried booting into safe mode to reinstall the latest NVidia drivers, but that did nothing. My video card is a XFX 8800GT 512mb. Did the card just bid farewell to this world?
+Warwagon MVC Posted January 29, 2013 MVC Share Posted January 29, 2013 Sounds to me like your video card is going bad. What you've described sounds like artifacts on the screens. Davo 1 Share
