Alienware PC's

i have yet to see a case or any modding that looks better than the Alienware's. well we all have different taste. ;)

They are set up horrible when you get it. I got an Alienware system a few months back and it was full with dozens of game demos and trial shareware software, kept crashing all the time. They say they spend time setting it up perfect for you, with the best settings for the machine. Waste of time, never again.

I much prefer to build and mod my own system then picking up an Alienware or any pre-built system, I think that's how it is for almost every geek who knows their way around and inside a PC. However, if I had to choose a pre-built computer, it would be an Alienware.

I think Alienware is too overrated. I rather build on my own and modify any way I want.

personaly I think if i were to choose a pre built PC it would be a dell, but i am the same as you, ide rather do it myself.

if i had money perhaps i would buy one of theyr system for fun, take the case and build something else :D

my friend got an alienware

and when i went to his house to see it, i was shocked, so much **** on it. nothing was optimized.

My friend bought an alienware for $3,500, which i couldve built for half... Supposedly, there the ultimate gaming machine, however, if you have problems and try to call tech support, it takes over 2 hours just to connect. I used to like alienware be4 they got so commercialized (only ad u would see was in pc gamer). now there at bestbuy and watnot, not so "personalized" anymore.

You just don't know what's out there.
