Email Problems with Windows Live Mail

Hi All

Having Security/or Other Problems with Windows Live Mail, Friend has said it's my Antivirus causing the issues, but I've been running MSE/Windows Defender in Windows 8 since I got WIndows 8 installed in October. Anyways the mail program keeps saying password is wrong on at&t email part of it, (soon as I get a new monitor will use Windows 8 built in mail app) current monitor a little too small to use metro apps that well yet)


Any Advice is appreciated?

or a Solution would be as well

(Willing to Switch to Avast Free Antivirus if I need to to fix the issues with Windows Live Mail)

Have you tried changing it to username@outlook.com ? Live mail is being trashed I use Avast without problems

Yes have my one mail with outlook.com username, then have it pulling down as pop3 at&t/sbcglobal.net mail, and Gmail, at&t one keeps asking for password, even though I reset the password twice already. (at&t support don't support 3rd party clients anymore, just webmail they will help with, but webmail is working properly)

Now it appears to be working properly

(Now i'll possibly make a decision on the antivirus aspect, and think all my problems should be solved I hope
