Hi there,

I am very new to this technical world ! I have installed virtualbox on my pc and pfsense. When I ran the pfsense, it displays the DHCP and IP address (10.0.10.1).

Also I have installed windows server 2008 R2 and given a statice IP address (10.0.10.5) and gateway address (10.0.10.1) but it is not connected.

I am getting ! sign on my network right bottom of screen.

Please help me.

And you want pfsense to be your gateway? Why would you install pfsense as VM - what are you trying to accomplish.

New to tech world and you want to jump right in with using a VM as your internet gateway?

How are you physically connected to the internet, how is your host to running virtual box connected to internet?

Are you running nat or bridge mode on your virtualbox nic you gave your VMs? That is connected to physical nic how?

Need some details and then very happy to help you - but without some details of what your trying to accomplish and what your working with your post doesn't help us help you.

      Yeah, this is absolutely nothing new and EA have done it before. Burnout Paradise, released in 2008, had dynamic advertising billboards that were updated via the internet and targeted people based on location and what EA knew about them from their profile. It was particularly notable for the fact that the Obama presidential campaign ran ads in the game, in an attempt to reach a younger audience who didn't watch broadcast TV any more.       MSN defined our generation in some ways, kind of like Snapchat and TikTok have done for future generations. I have great memories of the MSN era in the late 90s / early 2000s. In the UK everyone seemed to come home from School and go on MSN for the evening. We didn't really have mobile phones then, so other than going and knocking on your friends door it was a totally new way of interacting with people. I also loved how I could talk to people I’d met playing online games from around the world. Inviting people to NetMeeting and messing about with the shared white board and webcams was pretty fun, even if webcams only ran at a couple of fps over dial-up. All the random things you could do with MsgPlus! were really fun - I suspect that made a few people jump with /shello randomly blasting Mr Hankey out their speakers! Maybe I’m just nostalgic, however I do feel the internet and computers were more fun back then.
