Hi,

Could someone please recommend to me software that will bring back my pics following a format (from camera) of my memory card.
I presume this can be done anyway? If i plug my usb cable from cam to PC?

Many thanks

I'm sure there was a post not to long ago about this and what programs could do it.

You could try Recuva. This seems to do what your looking for.

Just one thing-- don't recover to the drive- recover to a different one... that way you would have more chance of success.

R-Studio Data Recovery did the trick for me one time... Recovery my whole partition after I deleted it by mistake (150GB +). Just make sure you dont create nothing (even a new partition) on the formated drive

Recuva is good if you do a deep scan. As long as you haven't been using the card in the meantime you should be able to recover them all.

There is one called GetDataBackNTFS which i have used before on someones hard drive that was formatted, it found everything, but it took around 6 Hours to run a scan and then a further 6 Hours to copy all the data back to an external hard drive.
