Would like to know if there a work around with tethering without paying mobile for it. I'm on T-Mobile and using 8X.

I will only say that Yes it is possible. However, it is illegal so you will not find the answer as to how to do it here.

Seriously? carriers still are allowed to charge people extra to use their data how they want to?
