I've been hearing a lot about the new Xbox and want to show off my logo design idea around with you guys. I heard somewhere that it will just be call Xbox.

Whats with the red thingy? Is it refers to "Y-Box", like the successor of xbox? (you know, like y-generation after x-generation etc etc)

So you took the actual xbox logo added some really random gradients, shadows and colors...

also why as a graphic designer are you saving the image with a massive white background taking up more room than necessary?

Why not? Its for a forum/concept it doesnt need to be saved as png with a transparent background.

Dont look for fault where there is none.

Original logo below. Only real changes are the odd shadow to the text and that red bit, which imho stands out and makes the whole thing look out of sync.
Likewise the green stamp version of the logo isnt a drastic enough change. Also you can find it already created on google images.

Sound concept and kudos for having a go, but design has obvious flaws.

differing first 'X' than last 'X' also not a good sign,
anti-xbox camp will said, you'll get different deals on what have promised before hand.
