""CALLING ALL POOL PROS"" Need help picking a new cue.

Well just yesterday I sold my first cue back to its original owner after having it for 6-7 months and only playing for 9-10 months i feel using that cue has extended my game greatly. But now im stuck in the predicament of picking myself a new cue. I don't know whats good, and whats better but right now i have two choices..

First choice

*Note that my first cue was a lucasi so i just naturally picked those.

Please help me out with either these two or something better for around the same price!

I don't really know much about pool nor am I any good, but I joined a league about 6 months ago and bought this cue:

I can definitely say that Lucasi makes an excellent cue. Between your two choices, I like how the second choice looks.

Any good quality cue will do you just fine. A good pool player can well with anything that is at least straight and has the weight that they prefer. In other words, it's much more about the player than the stick.

Yeah, that pretty much sums it up.

McDermott cues are pretty decent too.

I'd agree. After a certain price-point you are probably paying more for brand name or gimmicks than you are for some real function.

To the OP, I like the look of the first cue. BUt you're probably fine with either one.

      Sure is a shame that Google spent all of its efforts on maximizing milking ###### ad revenue instead of actually improving their once ubiquitous and best-in-class search engine with, say, a useful AI that could actually improve search results... /S

      The blatant anti-competitive nature of the EU's DMA rules are obscenely IRONIC and wholly damaging to upwards innovations from within the EU. Why?! Because it penalizes marketplace competitors whom the users CHOOSE to sign contracts with (basically dictating the product management models and strategies whilst handicapping popular marketplace choices) all under the guise of 'fair competition' and assuring continued operations. The only beneficiary (as the DMA is written and applied) are the toxic wannabes with whom most consumers have chosen to NOT do business with! What kind of bass-ackwards nonsense is that?!
