Pentium 4 Heatsink

Well i know there are threads about this, many are outdated, and some well bleh, what would you guys recommend to put on my 2.4b, the best heatsink, i dont care about noise or any of that stuff, and also it has to support the "C" revisions too, i plan on getting one of those for xmas, cheers

This is what i'm currently using on my P4 C 2.4GHz. :)

i use a swiftech mcx462+, it's really nice. of course, you need to get the one for p4's, not amd's, but you knew that already.

ThermalRight SLK900-U/SLK947 OR SP-94 with the 92mm Panaflo U1A 65 CFM fan.

Any of them will keep your 2.4B nice and cool :)

Make sure to use some high-quality Thermal Transport Compound (such as Arctic Silver 5) to allow good contact between the CPU & Heatsink.

I run the SLK900-U with a 92mm Panaflo H1A 58 CFM fan and the temps are pretty good.

Running the 2.4C @ 3.00 (250x12 & DDR500), the temps are as follows:

Room Temp: 19*C

No Load (Idle): 26*C

100% Load: 39*C

I'm impressed. :)
