Mandy K Smith
Finding the Wright Desktop wallpaper is very much down to the individuals likes and needs, but i do have a question - both me and my husband have android mobiles, and they have access to the meanest of wallpapers, especially the LIVE wallpapers. At the moment we both have live weather wallpapers which are well smart, these apps are like staring out the window: you have a scene, in his case a field with wind turbines in the background and mine is sunflowers in the front and a windmill in the background, with all MOVING parts - in the day, flying insects, birds and planes. At night, shooting stars and so on. With using your GPS it allocates the weather your currently receiving to the wallpaper, so when its going to be sunny, you have a sunny day on your wallpaper, but it can and does change in a second to rain, wind and even thunder & lightning, and when in your time zone it gets dark, then so does the wallpaper. Now for the QUESTION ? Why can i not find this for my ASUS Notebook - intel Pentium 2.2 GHz, 6GB and a HDD 640GB Win 7. I've looked everywhere (i think!!) and there are plenty of weather apps for your desktop, and even live wallpapers is general, but no full screen active live weather wallpapers as in the ones i mentioned for the Android mobiles ???????? :( HELP. Detection
Win 7 doesn't officially support live wallpapers, the best you can do is find a ported version of "Dreamscene" from Vista Ultimate and set a looping dream/video as the wallpaper, but it messes fonts up in

Dick Montage
The problem is (as with all other Stardock products)... The technology is great and works really well. But the content is dirge and reminiscent of late 90's modding.

Frogboy Administrators Posted March 8, 2013 Administrators Share Posted March 8, 2013 Like any lightly moderated library or forum, you're going to have to sift through a lot of junk to find the good stuff. DeskScapes 8 just came out recently, lots of good new stuff there.
Guest seanseany
Phone: 0770******** Errrr...... where it says "Phone" people normally put what make and model they are using , not the actual phone number they use. May be a good idea to remove it or you may get some strange calls/pictures from some of the odd people on the interwebz lol. Enable DreamScene in Any Version of Vista or Windows 7 , this still works I believe and is free , unlike the Stardock junk.
