Google only shows that some Chinese forums reprinted/copy-pasted them. Strangely enough, these Chinese forums claimed that they copied the messages from American forums. Conspiracy again?

Guys, can you search these out from non-Chinese forums?

??Why on earth would the U.S. build something that is efficient and fast? The U.S. will jump on technology that would cost twice as much and three times longer to build. The U.S. has the most debt in the history of mankind, you don't get that title by being efficient.

??Speed trains will ruin the airline industry, that's the reason why US is hesitant to build high speed trains. Big corporations rules in this country. If high speed train will travel from San Francisco to Los Angeles in a matter of two hours and airplane about an hour plus an extra hour of staying at the airport, train is more practical with a sightseeing view....agree???

??I was just in Japan and took its trains. The Japanese trains were amazing; clean, efficient, and on time (I have an atomic watch and the trains run with in 1-2 seconds). I have also ridden Chinese mag-lev trains...wow!

I just did it for the following:

And the first result was a link to this forum page.

What exactly do you want us to search for?

I want to know the exact original website/forum from which these messages/discussion occur. If you find it, please post the link here (if it is against Neowin rule, please PM me). Thank you in advance.

OK -- found it :shifty: :

This is what I got

after I've shortened the first phrase and put it in quotes.

Well guys, please look carefully at what I've said in the OP:

Google only shows that some Chinese forums reprinted/copy-pasted them. Strangely enough, these Chinese forums claimed that they copied the messages from American forums. Conspiracy again?

Now, both of you have given the links to Chinese forums/microblog (called weibo in China).

Because Americans usually don't come to Chinese forums to discuss (Chinese language is too complicated for them) .That is why I've been trying to find the supposed American forum where Americans discussed these information.

I guess I don't get why this is even important. Mass transit in the US is not that good outside of major cities. The layout of the country would render mass transit inefficient in most parts. So what's the big deal? Do the Chinese think they have a "one-up" on us because of this? I seriously doubt they have good mass transit outside of their own high density areas.

Surely a conspiracy?

A conspiracy on whose part? I don't see a conspiracy.. I do perhaps see propaganda from whoever is "posting" these comments. It's a bit far-fetched for Americans to be praising Chinese mass transit. Most Americans know very little about Chinese life.

    • TCL's Bang & Olufsen soundbar is 40% off on Amazon by Ivan Jenic The TCL Design Series A65K is currently $299.99, down from $499.99. That's 40% off and $200 saved on a soundbar tuned by Bang & Olufsen, which is not a combination you'd normally expect at this price point (purchase link below). Bang & Olufsen doesn't typically show up in the sub-$500 category. The Danish audio brand is known for speakers that cost several times more, so having their acoustic tuning on a $300 soundbar is very appealing. TCL handles the hardware, B&O handles the sound engineering, and the result is what the company calls "accessible luxury." Still, accessible luxury isn’t full-fledged luxury, so don’t expect wonders. But this is a decent soundbar, nevertheless. The A65K is a true 3.1.2 channel system with nine physical drivers, including genuine up-firing height speakers for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. Many soundbars at this price simulate overhead effects through virtual processing, rather than actual hardware. So, you’re getting the real deal. The design is unusually slim for a system with Atmos compatibility. The bar is just under 2 inches deep and should fit beneath most TV screens. The wireless subwoofer is also compact at roughly 14 x 14 x 5 inches. Total output is 460W, and you can connect to the soundbar via HDMI eARC, Bluetooth 5.3, or USB. There are also eight sound modes through the TCL Home app and an AI calibration capability. Although it’s worth mentioning that AI capabilities in most of these devices are inconsistent, to say the least, and that shouldn’t be the biggest selling point. Still, at $299.99, the A65K is a strong buy for anyone who wants a soundbar that sounds and looks noticeably better than what this price range usually offers. And the Bang & Olufsen branding surely sounds nice - pun intended.
