Nokia teases 'something new' announced on Wednesday

Posted Image

Nokia's official Conversations blog just issued the following cryptic message: "On Wednesday morning at 7am GMT we will be announcing something new, followed by a Q&A session with Neil Broadley from our Mobile Phones team and a special guest."

Well, at least we can fathom the Mobile Phones department is involved, and there is the even more cryptic picture teaser you can see above, so what do you think is in store from Nokia come early Wednesday?

My guess is a Windows 8 tablet with a wireless keyboard. I doubt it's a Windows Phone 8 device with a hardware keyboard.

The screen (if it is a screen, the black) doesn't look flush with the bezel, so I doubt it a tablet :(
Also, the raise hump on that key is more suited for a thumb. I suggest this is an Asha device, but very happy to be proved wrong on Wednesday!

It seems to be too much beveled to be a tablet, but would love to be proven wrong!
