Saving Silverlight streaming video to disk

It has been quite useful to be able to download Flash content occasionally and play it through my TV (via a USB drive).

I would like to know if it would be possible to do the same thing with web pages that have Silverlight content embedded. MP4 format preferred.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is not (yet) possible. The content is legal - it is just repeats of sport highlights shows that can be watched on the TV broadcaster's website (anytime). I could have a PC connected to the TV, but don't really want to do that at present. Due to my slowish internet connection, I would prefer to download it to disk, and then watch it, without any pauses due to buffering.

could try Intenet Download Manager (since version 5.15 build 6),
but if the silverlight applet requesting a propietary/unknown/encrypted formats for its video stream,
or if its using non-standard transport protocols,
most likely its not captureable.
