chrome Chrome features gone

I use dev chrome on two computers. For over a month now the sound within a tab animation and the new design for the new tab page have reverted back to their old behaviour and design. Is this in other dev builds or has something stange gone on with my builds? This one is: Version 28.0.1500.20 dev-m

Isn't dev updated to 29 or Chromium 28 turned Beta rather than Dev..

Although it might be because Google wanna do more testing and revert to old styles. So probably not your side issue but rather Google doing things and experimenting.

Seems 29 not out yet for win8 due to bug.
