BeerFan
I'm done with Windows 8 so I don't care what they put in there any more. I'm pretty much the same. I'll still toy around with it just to see, but I've completely flushed 8 as a valid, usable, main OS. It just blows on a desktop.

cooky560 Veteran Posted June 14, 2013 Veteran Share Posted June 14, 2013 8.1 fixes the whole problem somewhat for desktop users, I'm a bit unsure as to why it doesn't show the user's background unless you click the start button on the desktop. (It was a standard purple Start Screen image before) also I couldn't make out the presenter very well, but the boot to desktop mode seems to have vanished? BeerFan
:shifty: now people will start hating for not having start menu ..like seriously who needs the same old start menu It's not a start menu... it's just a button that brings up the start screen as an overlay. Worthless to me.
