The_Observer
so have sister going to vegas for birthday (41st), trying to sort out all the tech side of things. She going over with iPad, Digital Camera (powered by 4 AA batteries) giving her my iPhone5 to use over there (will buy a pre-paid sim card), netbook. Can anyone please tell me what to expect with pre-paid sim cards, data, wireless hotspots. Is there a iOS app for local wireless hotspots in the US, or good iOS apps for travelling. Any tips on traveling would be great.

metallithrax
Leave the tech at home and enjoy things. Take a basic phone and a camera, that's all you need. Tigurinn 1 Share
TAZMINATOR
You can download 'WI-FI Finder' app for iPhones ... Depends on your settings, you can get pop-up alert asking you to join wireless network wherever you are at.
