Hi :)

I know I'm a bit late to the party, but with the amount of work this year and last year made it impossible to finish the game.

But I finished a couple of hours ago. (Including Citadel).

So what's next?

I'm a bit lost now-days when it comes to new games, I mostly just read a couple of popular PC games sites, about any major releases and I'm really out of the PC gaming space...

Any similar games you guys recommend?

Thanks...

similar?  hmmm....  not sure.   i don't know many other first person spce rpg with so many dialogue option and romance ;)

personally i loved me2 and i did not like me3 much at all.

but METRO 2033 and Witcher 2 are my personal recommendations that are very very fun, and they have RPG aspects.     the setting is very very different and Metro is less dialoge heavy, while witcher is more like and proper RPG.

both games are superb and you just have to choose based on what you like, or just play both!

Hi panacea :)

Is metro a horror type of game?

I'm not much into that....

It is more like Fallout 3 but more linear. Finished it last month, i'll recommend it.

I'm proud to announce that Mass Effect series is one of a kind experience among modern games. No, there aren't any similar games. There are only other RPGs.

Might want to try Dragon Age 2, however. It's basically brown and gray Mass Effect, heavily borrowing nearly everything what's wrong with it, too. But other than that, a solid experience.

I rec. Dragon Age 1 way before DA2. It's dev. by Bioware and it's similar in game-play... Except it is more dark fantasy than sci-fi

There's currently nothing that offers an experience like Mass Effect... I'd just check out other RPG...

+1 for Dragon Age. It is developed by Bioware and both borrow from each other. So long as you're ok with the fantasy setting.

Kingdoms of Amalur is another decent RPG. Very underrated.

its got elements (monsters!), but it is more of an adventure and first person shooter blend. much less creepy then original metro game, that's for sure.

i found only one level were i was scared.... it was the one with giant spiders... and i hate fast creepy crawlers, especially this size.   but then i looked up how to kill them, and finished that part in 5 minutes :)    the rest of it was fun!

yeah, this game looks solid.    i would love to play it, but i dont want to invest so much time.  the next game that i want to spend 30+ hours playing will be witcher 3...  holding off until then.

but if i was to go somewhere with NOTHING at all to do for a week, this is the game i would take with me.   it really does sound that this game can be not boring for 100+ hours, due to excellent combat, and being able to modify the upgrade paths at any time! if i understood correctly.  that is HUGE for a game of this type.

dammit, i might have to play it too... :(((   ;)

Somehow missed that one when it was new, picked up a copy earlier, so far enjoying it quite a bit. Reminds me of Fable somewhat (the good parts), but better combat and the fate mechanic is an interesting twist, no getting pigeon-holed into a class.

KoA seemed kind of repetitive to me. I mean more so than some RPGs can be.
