Interesting! Some of those sounds are very repetitive and annoying at the same time. I remember some of those sounds very well. :D

I think that video covers just about all of them! I still use some sounds from Windows 98 today. :)

Alot of those sounds bring back fond memories! :happy: you can also see there is a very obvious correlation between how computers got faster over the years and the boot/login sound got shorter!

And to think that Steve Jobs said Microsoft had got no taste back then. :p That Windows XP sound is so melodious and cheerful. The Mac sounds are like "WTF? This from Apple?"

Did someone actually find a copy of Interface Manager? I've only seen blurry 30 year old photocopy pictures from when they previewed it.

I went checking around and found this link, it says those screenshots are fake and that there are no known existing copies before the official 1.01 release.
