anyone know if Microsoft have "benchmark" booster coded into either of the surfaces?

Very good hardware, excellent performance, better Windows 8.1.  But still terribly lacking in apps (mostly games...)

No, it isn't running android. No official benchmark apps have been written for winrt yet, so there is nothing to even cheat on anyway.

Very true, even the great games they do have are missing features and levels in some cases. Halo is pretty awesome though, so there is that

What RAM does the new Surface use? It makes it a lot faster!
