mps69
I'm lucky to be employed, having been with the same company for 21 years now, with some nice perks and benefits. Although I work in the IT department I'm not that deeply involved in the IT side of things, more the admin based. It does pay the bills, and allows me to go on holidays to warm sunny places. riahc3
Hello, First job, full time, and with a undefined termination. Best job contract you can get here. Having said that, the pay blows and I really want to dedicate my time to other sections in IT.
Nick H. Supervisor Posted October 15, 2013 Supervisor Share Posted October 15, 2013 Fulltime IT guy. Can't imagine myself in any other position at the moment, although there are times where I seem to inadvertently get pushed towards more managerial work. :(

Actually you can get rich in that job, however it takes an enormous amount of hard work, some luck and much patience! Poll anonymous of course. The best way to have them. (Y) I actually fit in about 3 of the choices for this poll.

I did the BTEC Extended Diploma from 2010-2012, then moved onto the Foundation Degree; currently in the second/final year of that, but I'll be staying on an extra year to top it up to a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree. MightyJordan
not bad, my one mate is doing sound engineering, he loves it. Nice. :) That's what my BTEC was initially in the first year: Creative Sound Engineering & Music Technology. For the second year, we then had to choose to branch off into either Music Production or DJ & Electronic Music Production. Nowadays, you don't have to make that midway choice, as they scrapped the CSEMT course; now you do either one for the full two years.
