zillah2004 Posted November 6, 2013 Share Posted November 6, 2013 Dear ExpertsAlthough I am not a fan on using internet explorer.My laptop has IE 10 installed ,,,,I am using this laptop for my work and there are some website work related should be run in IE8 or compatibility mode.Every day when I use those websites (work related) I have to use F12 --> Browser mode : IE8, or Tools --> Compatibility view settingsHow can I make either one of these changes to stay permanently ? or Can do I need to install IE8.Regards Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Raa Posted November 6, 2013 Share Posted November 6, 2013 You can't (and shouldn't) install IE8 over a newer version. You should be able to open the compatibility view list and add the website/s required to that list so only those sites are shown in compatibility mode thereafter.
