The Xbox looks like a Halo Auxiliary type of box. As if it was meant for a Spartan to carry.

Well it's going in the home theater setup so as long as it's around the same size it's no problem.  It's not a portable. :p

I've been dying to see this comparison. I always thought the PS4 looked small or the Xbox One looked huge but holy F? That's a massive difference! :o

Not that i'm gonna be carrying it around but still... that thing is huge!

Thanks!

Also, where are these shots from?  That white box is actually a QR code identifying the machine which means it probably shouldn't be shown.

I'm sure they could've made it smaller but MS wanted to play it safe with heat/airflow and so on.  It's not that big though, and neither is the power brick.  I think some people like to over-exaggerate things.

I was kind of thinking the same thing myself, better ventilation and all that, both probably get pretty toasty.  I'll pick hardware durability over saving a few inches any day.  Same reason I never build gaming rigs in tiny cases, hurts the airflow. (Never mind the fingers.)  That said, personally doesn't matter to me.. as long as it fits on the shelf, who cares.

It's not that the One is that huge (same size as PS3 Fat I think).. It's that the PS4 is in a nice small form factor.

The X-One design was definitely due to fear.  They are trying to make sure that the RRoD doesn't rear it's ugly head again...

I don't think it's as big as people think it is, the PS4 is pretty small in it's own right.  I think we should compare it to older systems that people have already to get a better idea.  I think the XB1 is around the same size as the original 360 and PS3 for example.

It's funny... The PS4 is a beautiful design... Very beautiful...

The PS4 screams: LOOK AT ME, I'M BEAUTIFUL!!! YOU BETTER LOOK!!!!........ :)

The Xbox One says... I'm cute, But I don't want any attention... at all...  :|
