So I notice many people are starting Facebook pages not as a person but for example " quotes for the mind pages " that shows pictures and quotes periodically or such other type of FB page but not as a person. These people are starting these pages not for your enjoyment but for their own pockets. So I was wondering how much does a FB page get per like or fan? I am trying to figure out how much per like or fan so I can figure out how much money these people are making I am very curious.

Thanks

I can't find anything about earning money through likes or fans, but there do seem to be some ways of earning money through Facebook if you head over to Google. Personally I wouldn't bother taking the time to consider it, either the income will be too low to be worth the time or in order to generate anything meaningful you'd have to spam your friends with affiliate links, which would automatically make me remove you as a Facebook friend if it happened to me.

They are pages that people become fan or like because they show quotes every day or funny pictures etc etc. So when they get thousands of likes or fans they earn a lot of easy money from all the likes and fans. Just like Youtubers make money from views and subscribers. I know this is not on topic but are you in German/ French/ or Italian speaking Switzerland? Also do you speak a 2nd Swiss official language? I ask cause I am always curious of bi lingual countries like Switzerland and Belgium.

Whoops, somehow I missed your reply. Sorry about that.

The money doesn't come from Facebook itself, but from affiliate programs. That doesn't necessarily rely on likes or fans, but more on people clicking through a link that you post to see the offer from the affiliate. See here.

As for me, I'm located on the very border of the Swiss-French part of Switzerland. Being English, Swiss-French is my second language. ;) Given my location in Switzerland though, I should really work on my Swiss-German - I'm on the "language border," where the languages switch.
