I've tried ESET smart security and it was pleasant. Now the trial is over, I'm turned over to NIS 2014, it seems fine so far what are the long term effects of it? Does it have good detection rates? Will kill the system and hog on resources in the future?

Been using NIS 2014 since October last year IIRC, with no ill effects. Runs well with a low resource footprint.

I have it too, I came back to Norton after they went to the new code best thing ever. Like RadishTM said it works great and doesn't take up much resource.
