Lost Splinter Cell: Blacklist cloud saved games... what to do to get it back?

I have lost all my (cloud) saved games when installing the mandatory update to Splinter Cell Blacklist.
Is there a way to have my cloud storage/stage level set back and restored (possibly by Ubisoft)

 

Or is this "bad luck" and do I have to start all over again (hopelfully not...)

(I also have tried to install SC-BL on another computer to play and have it synced with my cloud-data. And cloud-data is cloud data and should not be touched and overwritten my another, new, installation (which has less progress). Right??)
