ReMad Posted March 15, 2014 Share Posted March 15, 2014 Hi I dont know why Symantec Endpoint started not to allow the PS3 Media server software which is installed on my laptop to access video files and stream them on PS3 it was working beefore now showing denial of service showing ips and ports denied I found some work arounds on some posts but they arent safe cause they advise to disable a feature or to trust trafic coming from java please advise on how to trust that ips and ports for both the java and the ps3 ms thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Supervisor Posted March 17, 2014 Supervisor Share Posted March 17, 2014 I don't have Symantec Endpoint Protection and I've never used it so I only had Google at my disposal, but it looks like the developer would need to put in a request to have his application whitelisted. Praetor Posted June 25, 2014 Share Posted June 25, 2014 you can define that app as a exception or the folder were the app resides; if you are using SEP for SBS then it's pretty easy. I just took a screenshot for you to see, as an example, how you can configure the exceptions (if you are using SEP for SBS; other versions differ very little).
