He has a mid 2012 13' Macbook Pro.He is a student and not that adept with the technicalities of the hardware of computers, unlike me!Unfortunately his hard drive 'crashed' a few weeks ago. He took it to the Apple store, where they tried to recover the data externally using a caddy but it did not work.
