PrimoDuck
Hi all, Have had the Surface 3 for a week or so now. So far everything is looking really good on the new 1440p resolution, besides Bing Maps. I've figured out that usually when a program doesn't look right, you can go into the program's .exe properties to the compatibily tab and check 'disable display scaling' option to fix any visual inconsistencies. Not so the case with this app. I know I could always go with Google maps but I am already used to Bing. You can see the pixelization even from this compressed screenshot. Anyone have a similar experience with any possible solutions?
PrimoDuck
Looks like Bing map's quality in general is not as sharp as Google maps. I checked on different computers and noticed the same results on each.
Harrison H.
Is this only in the app, or have you also tried the web version? The reason I ask is that there has been a version of Maps in preview mode for a long time, and if I recall correctly, that is the one that had the HIDPI maps. +Red King Subscriber² Posted July 7, 2014 Subscriber² Share Posted July 7, 2014 Shouldn't maps be vectorized?

Both web and app. Shouldn't maps be vectorized? I would assume.
