Grunt
I only have to shave once a week, i wish i could grow a beard but facial hair is forbidden at my workplace and even when i was allowed i could never grow a beard no matter how much i treid. Which industry do you work in? Unless you work as a dive instructor or perhaps in a clean room (medical/micro technology etc) where PPE can't really fit over beards, then no work place can really forbid you to grow a beard. They can certainly call you out on "dedicated growth". As in, you can't attempt to grow a beard, then shave it off, then attempt to grow again... Perhaps in the food industry, they may claim that it is "unclean", in which case as them to provide research and evidence that beards are more unhygienic than long head hair or otherwise. But then again, (In the UK at least) your employer must provide appropriate PPE for your job - a beard net/ninja mask. :shiftyninja: And if it's "dress code". then check your employee handbook to see if it is explicitly written. If not, they haven't got a leg to stand on. ... apart from maybe sack you. In which case, employment tribunal! :D
Sir Topham Hatt
what is the name/manufacturer of these 40 year blades? Thanks! I think it's the quantity of blades that will last him 40 years, not the blade itself. :) I was going to say that must be some jedi metal. :) Thanks! Yeah, I meant the amount of blades I bought (either 1000 or 2000, I can't remember!). Gillette Silver Blue: xrobwx71 1 Share

Nick H. Supervisor Posted July 25, 2014 Supervisor Share Posted July 25, 2014 Embrace the beard! Although granted, when you've been on a boat for several weeks you don't get much of a choice. I should trim it back at some point. leagueofnotlegends 1 Share
JonnyLH
Get a stubble trimmer and go grizzly. Keep it long-ish and shave without hardly any irritation due to the blades not being on your face.
]SK[
Moved to a DE razor last year. I get a better shave and in the long run save a small fortune.
