You should look at microcenter.com. You will get the same hardware at a better price.

His motherboard choice does have the M.2 connector.  The Asus supports module lengths of 80 and 60 mm and the Gigabyte modules of 80, 60, 42 mm.

The motherboards offer nearly the same feature set, the Gigabyte is the cheaper and would be an excellent choice also.   I was a diehard Gigabyte user, but recently went with an ASRock and have been very pleased with the performance, features and quality.

Thanks for all the advice guys.. I think i'll change the case to a black one (unless some one wants to give me advice on a particular case) but i'll be changing the motherboard to http://www.newegg.co...N82E16813128714.
