How is the xbox one controller supposed to be held?

Recommended Posts

I've duplicated the post on Neowin to see if someone else knows...

The thing is, that I'm very curious to know if the Xbox One controller is supposed to be held a certain way. I mean, I've felt that the controller is now designed so you do not need to leave your two index thumbs from the trigger to actually hit the bumpers. In addition, it seems that the grip for the other fingers feels like there's a special way to fit it.

So, that's it. Is there a special way to hold the controller to take advantage of all the ergonomics, or is it the same as the 360?

Thanks :p

I thought it could only be held 1 way, thumbs on thumb sticks and index finger on the triggers mainly.

Not sure how i would place my thumbs on the triggers though, so obviously you meant fingers. ;)

Each time I grab it, the more I think there's a special way of holding it...

Like how far do I need to put my fingers, how do I need to put them, etc.

We're talking about a 100 million US$ design.
