Rechargable Batteries\Charger

Recommended Posts

Ok, so after several years, it is time to replace my rechargeable batteries.  I was using Energizer 2300mah and they lasted well.  Was curious if anyone has other recommendations?  I am looking for AA and AAA.

Also looking for a new charger.  One night of playing my XBOX, and having a few, I swapped out my batteries and put non rechargeables in the charger.  Long story short, the batteries leaked/exploded and charger is ruined.  Sad since I had that think for several years.  Anyway, not real worried about charging my batteries in an hour but looking for one that does 8 at a time.  Ideas?

Thanks

Look at your local retail stores. Walgreens or Radioshack should have something. IIRC, they all do the same thing.

Yea, but some are better than others. Been reading reviews and they are sketchy.  I may just stick with what I had but wanted options.

I use the eneloop line

I had ordered this back dec 2013, and paid $27 for it - crazy that it shows price of $63 now?

I also ordered pack of AAA

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B009LU9128/ref=pe_385040_30332190_TE_M3T1_ST1_dp_2

for $13.50

Been very happy with them.

Do a search for eneloop XX and you get different options/prices.  :)

Yeah I would never in a million years pay 63$ ;) But that is the link from my order email, and it was $27 when I ordered it -- looks like a newer model from panasonic for like price I paid.

But the batteries have performed well.

Looks fine. Decent charger that won't make the batteries explode. Lots of size adapters. Hardly any complaints about the Eneloop line, which is something rather rare in the realm of online reviews.
