Tablet app/interface to control what music is playing on PC?

Question

This Halloween, we're having a party.

We have some speakers connected to a PC. The PC holds all the music.

Ideally, we'd like it if people could hold a tablet (a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2) and choose what music is played through the speakers.

Can anyone think of any solutions?

EDIT: I'm thinking about buying a Bluetooth dongle for the PC, use that as the sound output for the tablet, and putting the Deezer app on the tablet (with the Home buttons etc. disabled to stop people messing). Not sure if that'd work.

iTunes does this out of the box.

Which app on the tablet? (Android)

You could use remote desktop.

It's a bit messy, if you understand what I mean. I'd prefer an app so that even my grandad could use it :p

Tempted to buy this dongle.

I use BubbleUPnP and/or XBMC Remote with mine. Bubble is quite limited for music until you buy a license but it works with anything that supports DLNA/UPNP whereas XMBC Remote requires an installation of XMBC.

Why can't you use DLNA/PlayTo? It's been supported by Windows forever now.

Just download an Android app that supports DLNA.

Because then I'd have to have my entire music library on my tablet, which isn't even close to being possible.

Just stream from a UPnP/DLNA server (Windows Media Player) to a UPnP/DLNA player/receiver/playto (Windows Media Player). If WMP can't do both simultaneously, install another compliant DLNA server program.

I'm sure there are tons of apps just like this one to do this without having to purchase any additional hardware.
